Woman electrocuted from electric fan in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD: A woman and a child died of electrocution in separate incidents in the city on Wednesday (July 31), local media reported.
The report citing a police spokesperson said the woman Rahat Jabeen, aged 32 years, resident of Rasheedabad, was trying to switch on a fan at her house when she received an electric shock. The women died on the spot.
Similarly, a minor girl touched a water pump at her house and received a fatal electric shock.
Three-year-old Umm-e-Habiba, resident of Chak No. 225-GB, was being shifted to the hospital in critical condition when she breathed her last on the way.
The police handed over the bodies to their relatives after completing necessary formalities.
