12-year-old boy electrocuted to death in Lahore
LAHORE: A 12-year-old boy was electrocuted to death after he came in contact with an electric pole in the Singhpura area of Shalimar.
The victim’s younger sister was also injured in the incident on June 13. The relatives said that the victim Ali Hassan along with his sister Zoya was going to the market when the tragic incident happened. Ali Hasan died due to electrocution and his sister Zoya was also affected but her condition was out of danger.
The relatives and other people blocked the area by placing the victim’s body on the road and started protesting.
Police said the minor victim was the eldest of two brothers and two sisters. The protestors vowed to continue the protest until the LESCO resolves the issue of current in electric poles.
