Two young men electrocuted in Ahmedpur
FAISALABAD: Two young men lost their lives in separate electrocution incidents on Sunday (August 4) in Ahmedpur Sharqia district of Punjab province.
According to media reports, Rescue 1122 officials said the incidents occurred in Therhi Zabti and Wahi Jaan Mohammad. The victim Nasir, aged 25, was electrocuted by wires from a water pump, while 24-year-old Nadeem died after receiving an electric shock from a lawn mower.
The body of one victim has been returned to his family, while the other body has been transferred to THQ Hospital for further proceedings.
In another incident, two minor children lost their lives in a tragic incident of electrocution in Islamabad.
According to reports, two children were electrocuted when they inadvertently touched an electricity generator in Sector F-11/2 during rain. The victims were identified as 8-year-old Ghulam and 5-year-old Waqas.
