Sialkot: Two children electrocuted by pedestal fan
SIALKOT: Two children were electrocuted as they touched a pedestal fan at their house in Chak Karimi on Marala Road on the outskirts of Sialkot.
The children were playing at home when they suddenly touched the fan. As a result, seven-year-old Omreen and Safian, aged 6, received a severe electric shock and fainted.
Rescue 1122 reached the spot and despite their efforts to provide first aid, both children were declared dead due to electrocution.
The bodies were handed over to their relatives after necessary legal procedures. The children’s father Muhammad Shabbir is a labourer.
